The research team has now published a paper; Safety and the city: (Re)Imagining the politics of public safety through queer-feminist co-design workshops.

The research Report was launched on June 11th with the findings introduced by researchers DR Lindsay Liston and Karen Sugrue, followed by a panel discussion with Councillor Elisa O’Donovan, Ashanti Bentil-Dhue (aka Unpunishable Woman) and guest speaker Ailbhe Smyth.

The aim with the report was to, among other things, help people understand the environment that women are made to put up with when they enter the political sphere, and hopefully see that it is unacceptable for anyone.

The document, is a living document, meaning we will update it when we can and if necessary. It is not an exhaustive resource; we’d like to make it clear that we do not hold all of the answers, solutions, or bits of information that can be helpful when trying to be informed.
